Southwest Airlines logo featuring the 737 MAX. The dimension of the piece is 21.71 inches wide and 11.52 inches high cut from 14 gauge steel.
Each piece is cut on our CNC plasma table, placed in an acid bath to remove mill scale and plasma dross then passivated in a baking soda solution to neutralize the action of the acid. Next the metal is media blasted to provide a superior surface for the powder coat. The powder coating is a process where a fine powder is electrostatically bonded to the metal and then placed in a 400 degree oven to cure. The result is a durable UV resistant finish that is resistant to the effects of wind, rain and UV radiation. This piece can be mounted either inside or outside and will retain its color and beauty for years.
